For CNC’s Drop 4 Campaign Lookbook, we took it back to where it all began: the streets. This collection leans heavily into CNC’s motorsport roots, so it was only fitting to shoot in a location that embodies the essence of performance and customization—a local Melbourne automotive performance shop. Surrounded by high-performance machines, tools, and the gritty atmosphere of a true workshop, this campaign captures the spirit of CNC’s dedication to car culture with authenticity and edge.
To bring Drop 4 to life, we stepped away from clean studios and headed straight into the heart of Melbourne’s automotive scene. The performance shop provided an immersive backdrop, with walls lined with tools, equipment, and engines that felt like a natural extension of CNC’s aesthetic. The space was raw, energetic, and rich with the culture that inspires CNC—an environment where precision and passion drive everything. Shooting here was about more than visuals; it was about capturing the energy and authenticity that CNC stands for.
Drop 4 represents CNC’s boldest take yet on the fusion of motorsport and streetwear. The collection features a range of graphic-heavy hoodies, tees, and jackets that pay homage to the world of performance cars and customization. With designs inspired by iconic car brands, racing culture, and CNC’s love for quality construction, each piece reflects the grit and precision of the automotive world. The color palette is a mix of bold tones and classic neutrals, ensuring each garment stands out against the industrial setting of the performance shop.
This shoot was all about getting up close and personal with the details. From the CNC logos inspired by performance parts to the oversized prints and multi-color graphics, each design was made to pop against the shop’s rugged backdrop. Our photographers focused on capturing the collection’s raw edges and textures—like the soft heavyweight cotton contrasting with the metallic surfaces and mechanical tools in the background. Each shot was composed to highlight the craftsmanship of both the garments and the automotive world, tying CNC’s streetwear seamlessly into the scene.
A local automotive performance shop was the perfect setting to bring CNC’s ethos to life. As a brand that draws so much inspiration from the culture of cars and customization, this location allowed us to visually connect our designs to the world they come from. The mechanical elements, stacks of tires, and intense atmosphere felt like an authentic extension of CNC’s identity, providing a gritty and immersive environment that perfectly complemented Drop 4’s aesthetic. It was a place where CNC could be seen as more than clothing—an integral part of car culture.
As Drop 4 hits the streets, we’re thrilled to share this lookbook as a testament to CNC’s roots in motorsport and street culture. It’s a collection that’s unapologetically bold, authentic, and crafted for those who live for the thrill of the drive and the spirit of the streets. Stay tuned as CNC continues to bring the world of motorsport into the world of premium streetwear, pushing boundaries with every new drop.
